Hands down the best breakfast spot ever! Tried everything Tahoe has to offer and this place is my all time favorite. From the delicious salsa to the mouth watering soup so amazing I had to buy more!!! Ordered veggie breakfast burrito with sausage. It was sooo big I split it with my wife who ordered side of fruit. Best burrito I've ever had and I've had many in my time .I will NEVER eat anywhere else for breakfast lunch or dinner .So delicious so friendly so coming back every time we come to Tahoe.

The service was fantastic; however, the food and coffee were not. Don’t believe the star ratings...Nothing seems to be fresh. No avocados, no fresh pico, and no fresh hash browns...

What a great place! The name says it all. Small, kitchy and definitely local. The dining room can fill up quick, so order ahead of time if picking up. It can get busy. All items on the menu are great. From classic Spanish dishes to your basic breakfast burritos...you can't go wrong!

Stopped by for brunch with a 2 year old in the winter time. Small place. Lady was very rude. Told us it was a 20 minute wait and to wait outside in the freezing weather with our baby. Didn't stay for the food.

Great service and tasty food. The place had a perfect ambience for a restaurant located in a vacation place. The food was good on quality and quantity as well.

Came here for a quick brunch after a friend flew us from San Carlos to Lake Tahoe. The food here is excellent I got the chilaquiles con huevo. they give you good portions along with chips and salsa to start it felt like eating in their house.

We tried this restaurant due to the high Google reviews, but we didn't find it mind-blowingly exceptional. I had the chicken enchilada and we tried the Taquitos and the food was a fair value for the price we paid. Despite the fresh preparation and ingredients, I will try other places next time I am in South Lake Tahoe.

I want to give this place 4.5 stars. It's a very cute, hole in the wall brunch place. The staff has excellent customer service. The food was good and the price was very reasonable. The place is a little small, which isn't necessarily bad, makes it a bit cozy. If there is a lot of people, it's difficult to talk to someone your dining with. It could use a little updating. When I come back to Tahoe, this will be a routine stop now.

Such a quaint little restaurant. I got more than enough food for one person all in one sitting and the final bill WITH tip was under $10. I could not believe it. This place has excellent food and excellent, friendly, courteous staff.Their salsa was one of the best salsas I've had in years and came free with my order. They also gave me an exquisite lentil soup. Usually that's not my thing, but I LOVED it. The french toast was just like how my mom makes it, and the bacon was perfect.Don't worry about going to a big breakfast at one of the casinos. Go here! When I return to Tahoe I will definitely be returning!

Cheap and delicious. This is more of a mexican dining but they offer American lunches and bfast plates. May have to wait a little longer bc of small staff. Finally not walking out the door paying $40 for bfast. Free chips and salsa + soup with every meal. Small home feel.

The breakfasts and service were excellent! They have traditional Mexican dishes and American breakfasts too. First thing, they offered a yummy veggy soup for free to start. We ordered chilaquiles with fried eggs and they came with beans and rice. Very tasty!! Approved by an authentic Mexican (me). Pancakes with scrambled eggs came with maple syrup and cream. Beautiful presentation. The burrito with chorizo and egg was tasty too. First time ever, the waiter came to let us know that the pancakes would take longer and sorry to wait a bit (wow! Never before has someone given this attention in any other restaurant) not even upscale ones. I really recommend this place.

Good food and charming atmosphere. It’s quiet since it is off the beaten path.

The only downer was the coffee. Everything else was great. Perfect small vacation town vibe and delicious huevos rancheros.

In appropriate service

I was very impressed with the main course and their flare for culinary style, but the wait time and the "free-appetizers" before they serve you the food that you order was not particularly impressive, like the salsa sauce for the chips were too bland for me.

Great food, great service and some of the best prices in South Lake Tahoe. You get complementary chips + salsa and a cup of vegetable broth (both delicious) - small breakfast menu but has all the traditional foods. My husband and I loved it!
